Welcome to Pension REAL!
Žiarska valley is a centrum of tourist sidewalks and bike routes. It is sought after the mountain peaks of West Tatras where the climbing Žiar saddleback, Baranec, Plačlivô a Baníkov with a possibility to visit the Žiar cottage are the most exciting. Typical slovak mountain sheepfarm with restaurant, located above the village and cca 1 km far from the Pension Real, is another attraction in this area. Sheepfarm is operated early.
Ski lift "Dolinky" with snow-maschines directly in the village of Žiar is available in the winter season. It is 1200m far from the Pension. Another ski lift "Podbreziny" with evening skiing is available 2 km far from the Pension. Arround 20 km there are all known ski centers available - Jasná, Závažná Poruba, Liptovský Ján, Podbanské. Near pension area the following thermal parks are located - thermal park in Liptovský Ján /8 km/ and thermal park Bešeňová /20 km/ yarly operated.Guests can visit plenty of cultural and historical signs /Liptov village museum in Pribylina/ or a nature artefakts in Demänovská cave of Freedom and Demänovská ice cave.
